Habitat for Humanity is still offering sponsorships for the Annual Holiday Gala for Humanity, the highly anticipated event that kicks off the holiday season each year in St. Augustine. 

Bike MS: PGA TOUR Cycle to the Shore, Oct 1-2

 

The National MS Society, North Florida Chapter’s largest annual fundraiser, Bike MS: PGA TOUR Cycle to the Shore, is coming up October 1-2, 2011. The 25th anniversary of the two-day ride will be the biggest fundraiser yet for the chapter.  

Bike MS is the National MS Society’s signature event and the single largest non-profit organized bike ride in the United States, including participants and funds raised.

Friends of the St. Augustine Amphitheatre (FOSAA) will sponsor an exciting all-day musical event at the Amphitheatre on Saturday, November 19th from 12:30 PM to 8:30 PM. The event will feature some of the area's hottest bands and soloists and spotlight the talent of Kids Rock the Nation Foundation award recipients. Tickets are $15 for adults, and $10 for students eighteen and under. Children under five will be admitted for free. Tickets are available through TicketMaster and at the Amphitheatre Box Office beginning October 1st. Tickets will also be available at the door. Half of the proceeds will be donated to St. Johns County schools to provide opportunities for students to see and experience live performances. The other half will be used to fund grants to non-profit community agencies and schools who submit FOSAA grant applications.

Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind Hosts Ancient City Auto Club Car Show

 

The Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind invites the public to attend the 27th annual Ancient City Auto Club Car Show on its campus Sept. 24 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Parking and admission are free, and visitors can enter the school at the Genopoly Street entrance off of 207 N. San Marco Avenue.

This is the third time in which the school has served as the host site for the event on its historic campus.
