Winter Blast hits Florida Ripley's

Although North Florida hasn’t seen a significant snowfall in decades, Ripley’s Attractions of St Augustine will be sending out a blast of winter fun to kick off the month of November.  Over the next two months, special events at area Ripley’s attractions will include major discounts and freebies, Christmas festivities such as Nights of Lights train tours, and food drives to feed the hungry.

November 1 through November 23, Ripley’s presents Law Enforcement Appreciation Days.  All Law Enforcement personnel currently employed in the state of Florida are invited to attend the following attractions at no charge during those dates: Ripley’s Believe it or Not! Museum, Ripley’s Red Sightseeing Trains and Ripley’s Bayfront Mini-Golf.  They may also purchase tickets to the Ripley’s Ghost Train Adventure for themselves and their guests at 50% off while also receiving discounts to over 100 shops and restaurants in the city with their Red Train sticker.

Later this month, from November 6 through November 10, if each guest contributes 5 cans of food to Ripley’s World-Wide Five-for-Five Food Drive, they’ll be able to ride the trains or enter the museum for just $5 dollars.

Then, from December 1 through December 20, it’s Ripley’s Florida Residents Appreciation Days, as all Sunshine State residents will get into ALL of those same attractions for half price.

The grand winter tradition of the Nation’s Oldest City, the annual Nights of Lights celebration, will be best viewed aboard Ripley’s Big Red Christmas Train!  From November 20 through January 2, the trains will run nightly from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. (until 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays).  Fridays and Saturdays only, riders may enter Santa’s Village near the city gates free with every Big Red Christmas Train ticket purchase, while every day of the week guests can play Prancer’s Putt-Putt at Bayfront Mini-Golf for an additional $1 per ticket.
