Photo Gallery | $4,000+ Donated to St. Augustine Fire Department

This week, Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation donated a RAD -57 Pulse CO-Oximeter, worth more than $4,000, to the St. Augustine fire department.

The donated device will be used to measure the amount of carbon monoxide (CO) in an individual's blood stream. The pulse CO-Oximeter will allow for on-scene testing of firefighters, and civilians for exposure to CO.

Despite drastic funding cuts and 5,000 firefighters losing their jobs, the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation has donated more than $3.1 million to public safety entities in 275 communities nationwide since 2005.
