ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla - The Flagler College cross country team raised $3,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation by running 187 miles.

The team ran the "Lionheart Relay" from Savannah, Georgia to St. Augustine's Bridge of Lions. There were six pairs of runners who traded off running three-mile legs. Each runner logged about 30 miles.

The relay started on the campus of Armstrong Atlantic State Univeristy in Savannah, a rival of Flagler's in the Peach Belt Conference (NCAA Division II).
