Harry's Seafood Bar and Grille of St. Augustine came away as victors in the New England Clam Chowder category at Sunday's 27th Annual Great Chowder Debate held at The Conch House to benefit the St. Augustine Shrine Club.
Over 30 local restaurants competed this year in five categories: People's Choice, Minorcan Conch Chowder, Minorcan Clam Chowder, New England Clam Chowder, and Seafood Chowder.

"There was a lot of tough competition this year and several great restaurants participated," said Louis Saig, President of Harry’s Seafood Bar and Grille, "Taking first place in the New England Clam Chowder and third in the Seafood Chowder categories is the result of our award winning team at Harry's St. Augustine!"   

General Manager, Christopher Froehlich and Kitchen Manager, Chris Tyler along with Corporate Chef, Bennett Depew, led the effort and were happy to support this great cause again this year.
