Brandon James Signs With Edmonton Eskimos

EDMONTON, Alberta (AP) - Former Universiity of Florida and St. Augustine High School kick returner Brandon James signed with the CFL's Edmonton Eskimos on Thursday.

"In a highly competitive league like ours, special teams are
often the difference in winning closing games," Eskimos GM Eric
Tillman said. "With his speed and elusiveness, we believe Brandon has a chance to be an explosive talent. ... We're hoping Brandon will generate an abundance of excitement and big plays."

James helped Florida with the 2007 national title and was a
two-time All-SEC selection. He signed with the Indianapolis Colts
as an undrafted free agent last year and appeared in three
regular-season games.
