ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- For the 6th year in a row holiday revelers can ice skate, sip hot chocolate or make s'mores at the Winter Wonderland taking place at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre.

The annual event features an assortment of holiday activities including ice skating, a brand new ice chute, carnival games, blizzard bounce house, igloo ski lounge, face painting, elf village, sleigh rides, s'mores pit, nightly snowfall and of course the big man himself, Santa Claus.

Last year over 78,000 adults and children attended the event, according to an event from the event's organizers.

This is the first year for the ice chute, replacing last year's attraction the ice slide.  The ice chute is a 140 foot inner tube ride that runs the length of the seating bowl underneath the Amphitheatre's canopy.

The Winter Wondelrand will serve as the venue for the Professional Firefighters 2nd Annual Chili Cook-Off December 15.

For guests 21 and over, the igloo ski lounge offers cocktails and a warm fire to sip them by.

For admission information, schedules, prices and any other questions you may have, visit the Winter Wonderland's website at winterwonderlandflorida.com.
