Crash sends scooter driver to hospital | News
ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- A bad crash in St. Augustine involved a car and a scooter.
According to St. Johns County Fire Rescue, the crash took place on U.S. 1 South near Wildwood Drive around 3:30 Saturday morning.
The woman driving the scooter was badly hurt.
She was taken to Flagler Hospital with life threatening injuries.
The car and the scooter did catch fire.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating.
No more information was available from the FHP.
