Feed the Need Fest fights hunger in St. Augustine | News

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- If you like camping and you love food ... then hopefully you were at the "Feed the Need" event in St. Augustine Saturday evening.

Camping World of St. Augustine and FoodiesUSA teamed up for the festival. It featured live music, a motorcycle and RV show, and of course ... free beer.

But the biggest attraction: the food.

Food trucks went head-to-head against each other trying to raise the most money.

"We have five food trucks here and food trucks are so different these days," explained Whitney Broyles of Camping World.

"There's gourmet, chef inspired dishes that are being sold. Whoever raises the most money wins the 'friendly' food truck challenge."

All proceeds from Saturday's event will benefit the U Can Change Hunger Campaign, which helps food banks.
