ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office rendered a suspicious device found in a mailbox at the Temple Bet Yam Synagogue safe, according to Kevin Kelshaw, media relations officer with the SJSO.
There are no known threats to the synagogue, which is located at 2055 Wildwood Drive, Kelshaw said.
A bomb team robot analyzed the device, the contents of which are unknown. The investigation has been turned over FBI and the ATF.
The investigation initially closed Wildwood Drive from State Road 207 to Treaty Park in both directions, but it is now open, Kelshaw said.
