Former St. Johns sheriff has died | News
ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- The St. Johns County Sheriffs Office is mourning the loss of a former sheriff.
Sheriff Neil J. Perry has died, according to a release from the SJSO.
He was elected sheriff in 1984 and served five terms before retiring in 2004.
Our news partner, the St. Augustine Record says the St. Johns County Criminal Justice Complex has been re-named in honor of Perry.
