ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. -- A St. Johns County Sheriff's deputy has resigned after being arrested for battery.
Sgt. Deputy Randy Wayne Capo worked for the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office for 31 years.
In May, he was arrested and charged with battery.
A spokesman for the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office confirms that Capo and his girlfriend got into a fight and that neighbors called police after hearing a woman screaming.
Capo was arrested.
