ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. -- Deputies in St. Johns County have found and arrested the man they described as an "extreme danger."
According to spokesman SJCSO spokesman Kevin Kelshaw, a tip led law enforcement to a home on River Road early Saturday evening. Michael Edward Green, 32, was found hiding and was arrested.
Kelshaw said deputies tried to arrest Green Friday after a traffic stop but he got away.
Green has several warrants for making and having methamphetamine. As he ran away, investigators saw him drop a backpack, and later found an alleged mobile meth lab inside it, said Kelshaw in a statement.
"Green should be considered an extreme danger to the community as these meth labs are extremely volatile...," it said.
Kelshaw said Jennifer Lee Woodruff, 33, a woman in the car with Green when officers pulled his vehicle over, tried to run away from the scene as well, but she was captured. Woodruff is now in the county jail facing charges of possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell and production of methamphetamine. Her bond is set at $100,000.
