Include One of Marineland’s Dolphins in Your Family Holiday Photo!

Marineland is happy to announce the opportunity to capture a treasured family photograph to send to all your friends and relatives for the holidays.  This special program is available from November 9th through December 18th and will take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays at 10:15 AM, 12:00 noon, and 2:00 PM.  Reservations are suggested as there are limited opportunities per time period.  Santa hats will be available for purchase if desired or bring your own props. (No pets allowed.)  You will receive one 8 x 10 photo and a CD with the image(s) taken for a charge of $25 plus tax.  General Admission is required. Creeks Girls Lacrosse

Registration (ages K - 8th Grade) Early registration October 1st through December 31st - Cost $125. Late registration begins January 1st - Cost $140.

SJMSAA Soccer Registration

The Saint Johns Middle School Athletic Association (SJMSAA) is now offering middle school soccer for both boys and girls. Try-outs for both teams will be held after school on November 15 and November 16. A regis-tration form must be filled out prior to November 15. You can register online at www.sjmsaa.com. St. Augustine to Host County's Largest Veterans Day Celebration

St. Augustine's annual Veterans Day celebration and ceremony - the largest event of its kind in St. Johns County - will be held in St. Augustine, Nov. 11.

The celebration begins with displays opening at 9:00am and a traditional military ceremony including a "Massing of the Colors," at the Special Events Field Thursday Nov. 11, at 11 a.m. This event is free and open to the public.

State Parks Waive Entrance Fees for Veterans Day

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Florida Park Service will offer free day-use entrance to Florida State Parks on Thursday, November 11, 2010.

In honor of the services and sacrifices of United States veterans, their families and communities, day-use entrance to all of Florida State Parks will be waived to park visitors on Veterans Day. This offer does not include Skyway Fishing Pier State Park.

674 Children in Need of Holiday Gifts

Episcopal Children’s Services is launching its annual Holiday Outreach program this week. With the help of the community, the program will provide 674 children and families in Clay, Baker, Bradford, Union, Nassau and Duval counties with Holiday gifts.
