Kids Proving They Can Make a Difference

Kids Proving They Can Make a Difference

Ten year old Palencia resident, Sam Franzini, has been named Kids' Ambassador to Goliath & Bebe's World Animal Sanctuary, a safe haven, currently housing over 300 animals.  Many are unadoptable due to age or special needs.  The sanctuary has been home to dogs, cats, horses, pigs, donkeys, birds, etc. since 2001, but is currently in grave danger of losing their land.  The sanctuary's primary benefactor, Lydia Cladek is now in jail, having gotten all her money in a ponze scheme, causing the volunteers scrambling to raise the $197,000 they need in order to remain on the property.
