St. Johns County Announces Energy Efficiency Education Series

St. Johns County is launching the Energy Efficiency Education Series, a group of five workshops to be offered throughout March on energy efficient building practices.

The education series is specifically designed to meet the needs of builders, developers and design professionals involved in commercial and residential construction. Although tailored for the commercial sector, the workshops also will be relevant and open to all members of St. Johns County. By attending all five workshops, individuals will be recognized as a St. Johns County Energy Efficiency Ambassador and provided a certificate of completion for prominent display at their place of business.

Each weekly workshop will be offered from 3:00 to 4:00 pm on Tuesday and Thursday to allow for scheduling flexibility. All workshops will be held at the wind mitigation building at the University of Florida IFAS Extension, located at 3111 Agricultural Center Drive, St. Augustine, FL 32092.

To ensure proper accommodations, RSVP’s are requested two days in advance by contacting St. Johns County Energy Efficiency Coordinator Lowry Shuler at (904) 827-6806 or eshuler@sjcfl.us.
