Bald Eagles Nest spotted in St. Augustine

St. Augustine, Fla. -- A new bald eagle's nest has been spotted in the St Augustine area and has nature lovers talking.

St. Augustine Eco Tours gave us these pictures...it's a nest they say one of their naturalists spotted while cruising South of the 312-bridge on Anastasia Island.

The bald eagle was taken off the endangered species list a few years ago. The group says the nest shows the eagle is adapting to its habitat, which is increasingly encroached upon by humans.

Eco Tours says the nest is expected to grow.

So far they've only spotted one eagle in the nest. It is a juvenile.

Eco Tours says about 30-eagles live along the area, but that this is the first new nest in quite some time.
