The St Johns County Sheriff's Office is seeking help from the community identifying a male suspect in connection with an armed robbery at the St. Augustine Premium Outlet Mall, on State Road 16.

Over 800 Gallons of Gas Stolen: SJSO Seeks Information

Detectives with the St. Johns County Property Crimes Unit are seeking information following the theft of over 800 gallons of gasoline from Buddy Boys convenience store, located at 2700 South Ponte Vedra Blvd.  According to the St Johns County Sheriff's Office, the theft occurred early Tuesday morning between 3:00-4:00 a.m. while Buddy Boys was closed.

Police: Teens Confess to Bridge of Lions Vandalism

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- St. Augustine Police have arrested two people they said vandalized one of the recently renovated lions on the Bridge of Lions.

A 15-year-old girl and 18-year-old Montezz Blackmon now face misdemeanor criminal mischief charges, after officers said Blackmon confessed to damaging the stone feline at the foot of the bridge.  The girl's name is not being released because she is a minor.

Workers are still trying to restore the lion, which is estimated to cost City of St. Augustine taxpayers $500.

Investigators said Blackmon spray painted the lion's eyes and nose red on Monday night.

Graffiti in St. Augustine Hits the Bridge of Lions

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- Despite several arrests, the graffiti problem in St. Augustine is continuing.

This time, one of the famed lions on the Bridge of Lions was the target.

The lions have only recently been restored and replaced on the newly rebuilt bridge.

Whoever committed this crime, spray painted the lion's eyes and nose. Police have not released any suspect information.
