Homeless Woman Wakes Up to Man Kissing Her | Crime

A St. Augustine man is in custody after being accused of sexually assaulting a woman.

According to a St. Augustine Police Department report, Miguel Angel Gonell approached a sleeping homeless woman and allegedly started to kiss her. The woman attempted to fight him off, but claims Gonall continued to kiss her and climb on top of her.

The victim also alleges Gonell tried to remove her pants and touched her inappropriately.

The victim was able to fight off her attacker, the report said. Gonell is currently being held on $100,000 bond and is charged with Crimes Against Person.
