According to a police report from the St Johns Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to an armed robbery last Wednesday that left one victim with a broken nose, “possibly causing permanent disfigurement.”

When deputies arrived, the victim “was sitting in a chair on the front porch area of her residence,” the report states. The victim, “was surrounded by pools of blood at her feet.”

23-year-old Derrick McBride is accused of kicking in the front door of his victim’s home, as well as breaking a window near the front door of the house. Once McBride gained entry to the home, he allegedly pulled a handgun out of his backpack and pointed it at his victims face, the report states.
