New Car Runs with Your Blood!

 

 

Sort of. Bloodmobile to visit Original Ripley’s Odditorium in St. Augustine – blood donors eligible to win a brand new 2012 Honda Civic!

Ripley’s Believe It or Not! and The Blood Alliance are hoping your blood donation will put you behind the wheel of a new car.  The Blood Alliance Bloodmobile will be parked in front of the original Ripley’s at 19 San Marco Avenue in downtown St. Augustine from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on both Saturday, December 17 and Monday, December 19.  All blood donors will be entered into a random drawing to win the car, courtesy of Lucas Honda in Jacksonville, and will also receive free admission to the museum on those days.

The number 17 was the charm for Susan G. Komen of Northeast Florida. Their 17th Annual Susan G. Komen North Florida Race for the Cure®, held at the end of October, was one of their greatest yet, in terms of participants and funds raised.

St. Augustine Ballet's production of  "The Nutcracker" will be performed at 7 p.m. Dec. 16-17, and at 2 p.m. Dec. 18 in Flagler College Auditorium in downtown St. Augustine.

Tickets may be purchased online at  http://saintaugustineballet.interticket.com/search.php or at Abella’s School of Dance, 1765 Tree Blvd, St. Augustine.

This year’s cast includes 63 students representing 16 Saint Johns County schools as well as a several homeschoolers.
