MS Awareness Week and Walk MS Coming this Spring

 

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, North Florida Chapter announced in November open registration for Walk MS 2012, the rallying point of the MS movement. Walk MS takes place every Spring in several locations in the North Florida area. This year, MS Awareness Week will enhance MS awareness during Walk MS season.

Catholic Charities Needs Toys for Children

 

The St. Augustine Regional Office of Catholic Charities is in great need of toys for children’s Christmas presents.  Catholic Charities has already provided gifts and food for more than 400 families in the St. Augustine community this year.  However, our donations have fallen short and we still have about 75 families including more than 250 children that we may not be able to provide gifts for without additional support.

The Holiday's are approaching rapidly and one thing that everyone loves to do this time of year is eat. Not everyone necessarily loves to cook though. Some are still recovering from the Turkey Day/Black Friday madness.

Fortunately the Florida Times Union and Jacksonville.com has compiled a list of restaurants that will be open and offering Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day Dinner.
