Writer to Offer Novel-Writing Workshop

Writer to Offer Novel-Writing Workshop

Novelist, short story writer and creative writing professor John Dufresne will visit St. Augustine in February for a one-day novel-writing workshop that will help participants prepare a full novel manuscript in six months. The workshop will take place on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Flagler College’s Kenan Hall, Room 300. The workshop is open to writers of all skill levels, though registration is required.

St. Augustine Ballet's production of  "The Nutcracker" will be performed at 7 p.m. Dec. 16-17, and at 2 p.m. Dec. 18 in Flagler College Auditorium in downtown St. Augustine.

This year’s cast includes 63 students representing 16 Saint Johns County schools as well as a several homeschoolers.

St. Augustine Community School of Performing Arts Announces Holiday Performances

 

St. Augustine Community School of Performing Arts (SACSPA) will offer five different performances this season beginning with “Christmas in December” a performance by the Coquina Chorale under the direction of Annette Danielson, founder and director of SACSPA. The performance is on Friday, December 2, 2011 at 7:00 P.M. at the Coquina Crossing Club House (4536 Coquina Crossing Drive Elkton, (located 4.8 miles from the intersection of FL 312 W and FL 207 S). Tickets are $5.00 at the door.
