St. John's County Superintendent Town Hall Meetings | Community Spirit

The Superintendent is conducting a series of town hall meetings hosted by various School Board members during the next six weeks.

The purpose of the meetings is to provide an overview of the budget and to share information on the referendum that the School Board has placed on the November ballot.The referendum is to partially restore the funding needed for critical equipment and maintenance of school district facilities that has been reduced by the Legislature. Dr. Joyner will also discuss Referendum 8 dealing with changes to the Class Size Amendment.The schedule is as follows:

• Monday, October 4 – Hartley Elementary School hosted by Bill Mignon
• Thursday, October 7 – Switzerland Point Middle School hosted by Bev Slough
• Monday, October 18 – Landrum Middle School hosted by Bill Fehling
• Tuesday, October 19 - Pacetti Bay Middle School hosted by Bev Slough
• Monday, October 25 – St. Augustine High school hosted by Carla Wright

The PTO at each school is hosting a reception at 6:30, with the town halls all beginning at 7 p.m.
