About Us
EPIC Community Services was established in 1973 as a community-based non-profit organization. Licensed by the Florida Department of Children and Families, EPIC was created to provide substance abuse prevention, intervention, outpatient treatment and aftercare services. EPIC also provides mental health counseling services under the supervision of licensed professionals. In addition, EPIC is an affiliate organization of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.

To strengthen our community by assisting individuals and families impacted by drugs and alcohol, mental health disorders, and related problem behaviors through a comprehensive system of Education, Prevention, Intervention and Counseling.
Additional Information
EPIC’s program and services are based on current research and best practices in the field of substance abuse and mental health. Our services are greatly enhanced due to our extensive collaboration with several community partners. In addition, EPIC has provided statewide leadership with representation in the Florida Alcohol and Drug Abuse Association’s Executive and Prevention Committee and Big Brothers Big Sisters Association of Florida’s Executive Committee.
As always, our focus continues to be on the family as the primary change agent to build strength and meet life’s challenges.
